Network Marketing and Mulit-Level Marketing business opportunities come in all shapes and sizes. I’ve seen it done well and I’ve seen it done poorly, you probably have too. As a result, you probably have some questions and reservations about this business, I know I did. So here are the most common questions I get from new and experienced entrepreneurs in the MLM business.
Will this require me to be pushy and intrusive with all my current friends and family?
No! Heavens no. When this type of business is done right, it’s done with respect for people’s time, budgets, and boundaries. This type of marketing and sales is about building genuine relationships, not abusing the relationships you already have. Will some of your current friends and family potentially be interested in your business, yes! And you should share with them! But in every relationship, whether they be personal or business, I would encourage you to be genuinely invested in the person first and the business opportunity second.
Will I be able to quit my job next week?
Uh, no. If you’re stepping into this opportunity in hopes of replacing your current income, that’s great! I will help you work towards that goal with a proven and effective method for growing a business. But this will take some time and commitment, you won’t grow it overnight. We can talk about the extra time you have to invest in the business and create a plan that will allow you to eventually quit your “day job”.
What if I don’t have a lot of sales experience?
That’s ok! It might even be a good thing. I don’t want to train you in the art of sales, I want to help you define what gets you out of bed in the morning, that one thing that gives you some fight for the day. And I want to teach you how to take your message public and use that “one thing” to impact the lives of other people. That’s what great network marketing is all about, impacting the lives of other people. The sales follow.
